MACR: 15304

1st Lt Milton W Zahn was assigned to the 301st BG 352nd Squadron.
Military Occupational Specialty (MOS): Bombardier.

On May 10, 1943, his crew was assigned as part of a formation to bomb targets in Sicily. As the aircraft departed the IP for the bomb run, it exploded in mid-air. The cause was (possibly) a flak hit in the open bomb bays. Only 1 parachute was seen, and only 1 crew member survived, taken as a prisoner.
