Oval Williams

PFC Oval D Williams was assigned to the 301st BG 32nd Squadron.

Oval D. “Denny” Williams, age 90, passed away on January 12, 2012. He was born on May 23, 1921 in Portsmouth,OH to the late Fred and Melissa (Rice)Williams. Denny retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service. He has been a member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church since 1961, where he ushered the 8 o'clock service for 20 years and served on the endowment committee. He was a member of the Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge #340 F. & A.M. Denny was a 32nd degree Mason and was very active with the Shrine for many years. He was the director of the Hospitality Unit for 10 years. Denny was a very successful insurance agent and co-owner of Wolf Insurance until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his brothers Edgel and Vern Williams; sister Fern Williams; and great-grandson Eliseo Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Williams; sons, John and Lynn (Allyson) Williams; grandchildren Elaine (Tim) Roesner, Erin (Matt) Anderson, Carly Williams and Todd Williams; great grand children, Emily and Sam Anderson and Jameson, Sadie and Crosby Roesner; sisters, Olive Bailey, Oreda Lyons, Nancy Reedy, Florene (Jim) Keller, and Clotine (Tim) Ruff; numerous nieces and nephews. Denny greatly appreciated all his dear friends, neighbors and business associates. He truly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
