Lyle Nelson

My father in law Lyle Nelson was a bombardier with the 353 bomb squadron and flew 51 missions from 15 Jan 44 - 31 May 44. He is 88 years old but doing well. Am trying to find information regarding his service. I have exerpts from "who Fears plus the record of his missions flown plus a few photographs. I have one of his photos of a b-17. It has a y and a large 4 on the vertical stabilizer plus a tail number 46164. Any idea what unit it belonged to? Would appreciate any other information you might point me to. Thanks. Claire Olson
