Cornelius Jacob
S/Sgt. Cornelius H. Jacob served in the 301st BG(H) 419th squadron, mostly out of Foggia, Italy. He has passed away at 86 years of age on February 17th 2009
He was awarded the Purple Heart as a result of wounds sustained over over Reagansburg, on his 37th mission during THE BIG WEEK, before ditching in the Mediterranean Sea. He had 50 missions total. See Document 1 below for DFC
