Willie Horton
Willie Gray Horton, A Retired Chief Warrant Officer For The Louisiana Air National Guard, died Thursday, 1-28-93, of Respiratory Failure At East Jefferson General Hospital. He Was 73. Mr. Horton was born In Green Country, N.C., and lived In New Orleans for 45 Years. He was a 1943 Graduate of Embry Riddle School of Aviation. During WWII, he was In the 301st Bomb Group, 419th Squadron of the AAF. After war he served in the Air National Guard. He Retired In 1979 after 35 Years. Survivors Include his wife, Regene Schott Horton; three sons, William, Kenneth and Edward Horton; a daughter, Linda Horton; two brothers, Floyd and Roy Horton; two sisters, Bessie Horton And Hazel Kelley; and three Grandchildren. A Military Service and Mass will be held Monday At 2 P.M. At Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin At 11 A.M. Burial will be In St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.
