S/Sgt. Richard Van Norton - HQ 301st Bomb Group

My father was SSgt Richard Van Norton US Army Air Corps. He retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad and went to college. He got his degree in photographic science and went to work at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton,VA where he worked until shortly before his death on 17 Feb 2001. He is buried in our family cemetery on our farm in Star Tannery, VA. If anyone served with him in WWII and would care to share their experiences I would appreciate hearing from you. He was a great Dad, husband, teacher and friend. I miss him everyday. Richard Van Norton 452 Paddys Run Rd Star Tannery VA 22654 USA (540)335-7425 ricvannorton@yahoo.com
